AWARDS
SBAP annually promotes the award of the best theses and dissertations in its academic area. The purpose of the award is to recognize original works, of methodological quality and academic and professional relevance for Public Administration.
EVENTS
SBAP organizes events that bring together scholars and practitioners of Public Administration. The main event is the Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration (EBAP), which aims to disseminate new knowledge, to share good practices and to foster debate between specialists in public administration and public policy.
BACKGROUND
The Brazilian Society for Public Administration was founded on August 9, 2013, during the 1st Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration (EBAP) held at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in Natal. After a month of foundation, the SBAP was presented, on September 9, 2013 to the academic community Public Administration during the XXXVII National Meeting of Research and Graduate Studies in Administration, in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, when it received memberships from many researchers and practitioners as co-founders of the new institution.
MEMBERS
We bring together people and institutions to develop the Public Administration.
SBAP is formed by individual members and institutional members dedicated to improving good governance in Brazil.
