HISTORY
The Brazilian Society of Public Administration was founded on August 9, 2013, during the 1st Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration (EBAP) held at the Federal University of Rio Grande do Norte (UFRN), in Natal. One month after its founding, the SBAP was presented on September 9, 2013, to the academic community of Public Administration/Management during the 37th National Meeting of Research and Postgraduate Studies in Administration, held at the Windsor Barra Hotel, in Rio de Janeiro/RJ, when it received the support of many researchers and practitioners as co-founders of the institution.

SBAP is made up of individual and institutional members dedicated to improving good governance in the Brazilian State.
EVENTS
SBAP holds periodic events that bring together academics and professionals in Public Administration. The highlight is the Brazilian Meeting on Public Administration (EBAP), whose objective is to disseminate new knowledge, share good practices and encourage debate among experts in public management and public policies.
