ABOUT EBAP

In the 2025 edition, EBAP will be held in the Brazilian Amazon, specifically in Belém do Pará, and will have the theme “Sustainability and Territory”. Thus, during the event, research, implementation of public policies, public-private partnerships, the role of local communities and public sector actions for different levels of government will be discussed, with an emphasis on climate adaptation and resilience, ecological revitalization and mitigation of climate impacts. Everyone is invited!

THE WORLD'S LARGEST CLIMATE EVENT

The choice of Belém do Pará as the venue for this edition of the event has different meanings:
  • SBAP progress in northern Brazil.
  • The north is one of the regions richest in sociobiodiversity, but one of the most vulnerable to the effects of climate change.
  • Belém do Pará is the host city of COP-30, which will take place in November 2025.

ABOUT SBAP

SBAP is a non-profit civil association that aims to develop Public Administration as an autonomous discipline, as well as to promote ethics and good management practices in the public sector, bringing together organizations, postgraduate programs, academics and professionals in Public Administration in Brazil. Among its actions, we can highlight the holding of National Meetings, spaces for in-depth discussions that guide the context in which the Society operates. In previous years, the editions were held in the cities of Natal (2013 and 2015), Florianópolis (2016), João Pessoa (2017), Viçosa (2018), Salvador (2019), Brasília (2020 and 2021 – Virtual), São Paulo (2022 – Hybrid), Brasília (2023 – Hybrid), Brasília (2024 – Hybrid).
