General Assembly

The General Assembly is SBAP’s sovereign body composed by all individual members. SBAP’s General Assembly regularly takes place once a year and, extraordinarily, whenever called by the Board of Directors or by SBAP’s members.

Among its functions are:

To elect the Board of Directors and the Fiscal Council.
To decide on modifications of SBAP´s Estatute.
To analyze the Annual Report.
To discuss and to ratify the financial reports formulated by the Fiscal Council.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors is the executive body of the Brazilian Society of Public Administration. It is composed by nine directors in charge of carrying out the planning, implementation and evaluation of SBAP’s activities, as well as representing SBAP before other organizations.

Board 2020-2022

The current Board of Directors was elected and took office on November 11, 2020, during the VII Brazilian Meeting of Public Administration (VII EBAP). The Board of Directors is in charge of the implementation of SBAP Management Plan 2020-2022

Fiscal Council – 2020-2022

The Fiscal Council is an advisory body that keeps SBAP´s financial accountability of the Board of Directors and issues accounting statements to the General Assembly. It is composed by of three elected members.

Advisory Board 2021-2022

The Advisory Board supports the Board of Directors by issuing guidance and orientation on SBAP's strategic decisions. It is composed by a maximum number of 25 Advisors designated by the Board of Directors.
